Genetics is a newly released Minecraft mod which revamps the existing genetic engineering system in Extra Bees. In the new system, genes from bees, trees, butterflies and flowers can be isolated and sequenced, at which point they are added to the player's gene database. The player can then fill serums with multiple discovered genes and use them to add new genes to individuals.
